Commercial Sewing, Inc. announced the appointment of Christopher Pressler as Vice President of its Indiana Business Unit. Pressler will lead the performance, growth, and strategic direction of Commercial Sewing’s Indiana operations. Reporting to the company’s President, Eric Blauvelt, he will oversee business development, operational execution, customer partnerships, and organizational growth in support of the company’s long-term expansion plans.
In the role, Pressler will help advance Commercial Sewing’s investment in Indiana by building high-performing teams, improving financial performance, and strengthening customer service and manufacturing excellence. “Chris brings deep industry expertise, operational leadership, and customer-focused thinking that align with our vision for the future,” said Stephen Mazzarelli, co-owner of Commercial Sewing, Inc. “His experience and relationships across the marine industry will be instrumental as we expand our capabilities and strengthen customer partnerships.”
Pressler brings nearly 20 years of marine industry experience, with expertise in marine canvas and fabrication. He previously spent more than 18 years with Tumacs Covers, serving in several leadership roles, including General Manager and co-owner. His experience spans sales, engineering, purchasing, operations, and customer relations. Pressler has worked with leading marine manufacturers, including Bennington, Forest River, Godfrey, Hurricane, and Manitou, along with dealer networks and retail customers across North America.
His industry knowledge and hands-on leadership experience give him a strong understanding of product development, manufacturing operations, and the needs of marine OEMs and consumers. “I am excited to join Commercial Sewing and contribute to its reputation for quality, innovation, and customer partnership,” said Pressler. “The Indiana operation has tremendous potential, and I look forward to working with the team to support customers, drive growth, and help shape the next chapter of the business.”
Commercial Sewing continues to invest in its people, facilities, and capabilities to support OEM manufacturers and aftermarket customers across the marine, powersports, and outdoor recreation markets. Pressler’s appointment reinforces the company’s focus on operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and long-term growth.
