The Quality and Engineering team at Commercial Sewing work with many labs around the country to test materials but have also built a testing facility in-house to consistently ensure that the quality of components we integrate into our products meet specific requirements. Fabric and various parts that Commercial Sewing purchases must conform to very strict certificates of conformity for every product category as well as meeting requirements for key customers. The various types of testing done on site, as well as through partners, covers a variety of aspects as it pertains the how the company and industry views quality.
Our quality initiatives are focused on Lean Principals and we are ISO 9001 and TS16949 compliant. We pride ourselves in the quality planning of new products, quality control of raw materials and our production process, and quality assurance of our finished goods. We routinely audit our processes to maintain all critical to quality requirements and continuously measure and track key performance indicators. Customer satisfaction and the determination to make a world-class quality product drive our continuous improvement activities at Commercial Sewing. As a result of our quality management system, Commercial Sewing has historically received high supplier performance ratings from customers such as Yamaha, Kawasaki, Arctic Cat and Polaris.
