OuterArmor by Commercial Sewing has been designing and manufacturing bimini tops for over 40 years. Our team is consistently listening to the market and is dedicated to achieving the visions of our customers. Most recently we have implemented new designs and techniques with regards to frame bending, innovative fulcrum points for storage and expansion, coverage extensions, and a superior level of fabric durability and longevity against the elements.
Specifically, we also offer a variety of features such as integrated wakeboard storage, mesh pockets and most recently, solar power panels to support charging electrical systems and equipment. We have developed some unique bimini tops for Malibu and Nautique that exemplify our capabilities as well as new versions coming out for next model year that our customers will have the pleasure of announcing.
Our team at Apex Canvas, our sister company based in Loudon, Tennessee, are 100% dedicated to manufacturing and delivering over 13,000 bimini tops annually to many of our boat manufacturer customers. You can see from the photos how the design of Nautique bimini tops integrate storage for wakeboards as well as have the ability to fold and lower with the tower. The fold and lower mechanism allows for the ability to put a full mooring cover over the boat to completely protect it while docked, in storage, or during transportation. The Malibu bimini top is a completely different design. The design allows the bimini top to completely fold over on itself as well as having the canvas roll up into a sleeve to protect it while docked, in storage, or during transportation. The bimini top also has incorporated wakeboard storage.
